The large piece of glass entitled “Atmosphere” serves as the window in the lobby to the Burien Library Multipurpose Room. Bradford worked with artist Paul Marioni to ensure that this work, along with Marioni’s terrazzo floor, relate to each other. The image on the glass panels is created through sandblasting the glass.

About the Artist
A Colorado based glass artist, Kathy Bradford is nationally recognized for her sandblast etched glasswork. Bradford has also won the National Decade of Excellence Award for glass fusing and slumping. She is published on a regular basis and authors many articles on technique.
