365 Days of Grief

Community member, Natseeri Puttavon, coordinated the creation and installation of the artwork, 365 Days of Grief, which is meant as a memorial to her longtime friend, Conlan Anderson, who was walking home on the 12400 Block of First Avenue South in 2017 when he became the victim of a hit and run.  The imagery evokes lanterns, which are symbols for the soul in many Eastern cultures, released into a cloudy sky that gradually fades from darkness to light.
